About Me
I was born on April 30, 1984 in Decatur GA. My whole, pre-college life was spent in a town called Lilburn, GA. It was a nice little suburb of Atlanta to grow up in.
I went to college at The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and was in the Phi Gamma Delta chapter there.
Since college, I’ve served as a college minister in the Bay Area, CA, and in Atlanta, GA, left the church to become a bartender, and begun my seminary education at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA.
I have only fleeting ideas about what I may do after seminary, but I’m pretty certain that God is calling me to serve in the church in some way, though I am also convinced that the church is more and is different than any current cultural definition might give it credit for.
Despite my tendency towards skepticism, I feel secure in my God and in my belief that God has a plan for me … and for you! I hope that you enjoy these words!
Peace
